YELBONG RIVER CANYON TREK

Itinerary

Day 1

• Self-travel to Yelbong & reach the destination by 3:00 PM. The distance is around 50 km from Siliguri and it may take 2.5 hours to reach by vehicle. Travel has to be arranged by the members themselves. Travel facilities from Be An Explorer are available at an additional cost.

• Once all members reach the camping destination, we will proceed with group activities where members will get to know each other and have a good time together. Members will be provided with evening snacks.
•  
• Dinner for all members will be arranged at the homestay. 
•  
• All members will then be provided with accommodation in the homestay, with proper warm bedding and facilities.
•  

Day 2

• Early morning on the 27th, members will be provided with breakfast at the homestay.
•  
• With members done with breakfast, they will be starting the river trek with proper safety gear and a tour guide. Needed safety gear and a tour guide are included in the package.
•  
• The River Canyon Trek will take 2-3 hours one-way. We will look to complete the trek by lunchtime. Once reaching back at the homestay, the trek will be concluded over. The lunch is not included in the package, however, the members can order their lunch at the homestay.

• With members ready to check out, they will start departing from Yelbong with unforgettable memories filled in their hearts.

• Keto sandals
• Swimming Trunks
• Umbrella/Poncho
• Warm Clothes for night
• Headlamps(preferred)/Torch Light
• Sun Cap & Sunglasses
• Flexible Clothing
• Personal Medicines for allergies, gas, pain, diarrhea, headache, and hangover.
• Water Bottle
• Mosquito/Insect Repellent
• Trekking Pole
• Mobile charger/ Power Bank
• A pocket knife
