One of three ancient capitals within the Kathmandu Valley, beautifully preserved Bhaktapur experienced a good share of injury during the 2015 earthquakes. Fortunately, most of the city’s temples and shrines, which are the most attractions during this place referred to as the town of Devotees, escaped unscathed.
